Vertical planting

Breathtaking finish with real added value

For projects big and small, when it comes to planting, it is well worth exploring new perspectives. Looking skywards, for example, can open up completely novel ways of designing indoor and outdoor areas, all of which come with numerous benefits – both functional and ecological.
Façade planting in particular is undergoing a surge in popularity at present, ranging from individual building walls to the abundant planting of entire complexes and high rises. Regardless of scale, it is always sure to enhance the appearance of a building and make it one of a kind. Living walls also offer plenty of benefits in terms of the environment and sustainability: in both summer and winter, façade planting provides an additional layer of insulation, which in turn saves energy, helps improve the microclimate and noise reduction, creates new habitats and sources of nutrients for animals, and effectively binds pollutants from the air. While climbing plants such as ivy were predominantly used in the past, different solutions are available today, such as those offered by our company in the form of living walls.
The Adam living wall is an excellent choice for façade planting. It is assembled by fixing cassettes made from hard-wearing aluminium that hold the plants to a substructure installed on a building façade. The substructure still allows the building envelope to be ventilated, and the plants are able to flourish outwards in all their glory.
The Eva living wall is a great way of creating green spaces in even the smallest of spots. It can be easily assembled in all kinds of locations, both indoors and out, and certainly makes an impression as a visual highlight, partition, or privacy screen.
